We are now in BRUSSELS (December 29th)
We ave been injurred by the earthquake in Bam, Iran (our hotel collapsed). By miracle, I was conscious and could manage alone to get out of the dusk but Nathalie was unconscious and gravely injurred. I could fortunately find her and help her.
Then, an Iranian doctor has invited us to his home. He had worked in hospital from 9 a.m. to 3 a.m. and then came back home to sleep, but instead of sleeping, he looked on Nathalie until morning and then came back to the hospital.
His wife as well as the whole familly have been incredibly concerned by our confort and have brought formidable help with cooking, clothes, healing, moral assistance, friendship, etc.
We have been transported yesterday morning to Brussels and Nathalie has been hospitalized. She is fine now and the X ray have showed she has no fractures. She will be better in a few days but already she is very well.
The cello has been found yesterday in pieces by our Iranian friend to whom I had given a map of the hotel with all indications about the place of our belongings under the dusk.
The travel is finished of course. We will look now for an appartement in Brussels.
